Festival is organised by the Jersey Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

For many years the Jersey Beer Festival was held in a variety of local hotels and entertainment facilities, however, following the 2001 Beer Festival we were homeless. Like every good nomadic tribe, we set up camp in a large tent on Peoples Park for the first Drinking Within Tent in October 2002. Unfortunately, a force 9 gale blew the tent away. In 2003 we moved the festival to September (and to a bigger and slightly stronger tent) and the festival has grown bigger since. This year we are making some slight adjustments to the layout but you may be pleased to know we have secured an even bigger tent than last year!
